L'habeas Corpus Compagnie est créée en Juillet 2012 par Julien Fournier. Après 14 années de travail en tant qu'interprète au sein de diverses compagnies et au contact de divers chorégraphes et metteurs en scènes, s'exprime l'envie d'écrire ses propres spectacles.
Le projet s’inscrit dans une vision du cirque résolument contemporaine et transdisciplinaire qui questionne la notion même de “performance” en ouvrant sur une remise en écriture de la technique circassienne.
Sa démarche place l’expérimentation comme lieu de rencontre avec le public par :
- La mise en scène du corps performant et théâtral ;
- La confrontation de différents espaces et niveaux de narrations ;
- La recherche sur l’esthétique des corps, décors, des corps dans un décor et leur potentiel narratif, fictif et réaliste ;
- La remise en question perpétuelle des limites et des idées toutes faites ;
- La mise en relief de points de vue incertains mais défendables.
En sortira début 2014 sa première pièce REVERSO, spectacle duo où le cirque trouve sa place dans le détournement des apparences.
REVERSO a reçu le MQVE AWARD quality label 2015.
L’habeas Corpus Compagnie was created in July 2012 by Julien Fournier. After 14 years of being an interpreter for various choreographer and director in the contemporary circus world, is born the envy to write his own plays.
By confronting the circus with other disciplines, the project is about inventing new corporal langages in the aim of developing both a raw and poetical universe.
Our work joins in a resolutely contemporary vision of the circus and cross-disciplinary art form, forcing circus technic to reinvent itself.
Basing the research around experimentation with a strong physical engagement, we try to create unexpected situations developing strangeness, beauty, absurd, foolishness…the body being the central object of the work.
Questioning permanently ourselves on what we want to share with the public, we are paying a special attention to the dramatic writing of the play and the original form is can take.
Created in 2014 REVERSO is the first act of this research, it’s a duo where circus finds its place in the transformation of appearances.
